Responsibilities
- Overall safety, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of assigned department.
- Liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process, and engineering related issues.
- Direct and coordinate activities of production workers such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine/setters, test and other plant & system operators.
- Anticipate and adapt to change, making required adjustments to schedules.
- Enforce safety and environmental regulations.
- Direct and coordinate activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and maintain capacity plans.
