About The Role
As a key member of our Production team, you will be responsible for supervising our front‑line Team Members with the objective of achieving immediate and short‑term goals as outlined by the Production Managers.
What You Will Do
- Responsibility for shift scheduling including work station assignments/shift rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, back‑up for absent Team Members
- Coordinating production startups, shutdowns and changeovers
- Attaining shift production goals
- Operating within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Communicating with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Managers
- Responsibility for quality control, adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specification
- Participating on Continuous Improvement Teams and implementing changes
