Systems Technician - Audiovisual Event Support

Job Description

The House of Commons Digital Service and Real Property team is currently looking to staff the Systems Technician, Audiovisual Event Support position. This position is full time on-site five (5) days per week. 

As a Systems Technician, you will provide front-line operational support for audiovisual, video conferencing, and broadcast systems across the Parliamentary Precinct. Working in live production environments, you will set up, configure, and test required equipment, ensure system readiness, perform maintenance, and deliver direct client-facing support to Members of Parliament and operational partners. You will be responsible for the real-time operation and reliability of systems during proceedings and events, while collaborating with engineering, product line, and IT partners responsible for system design and security.
