Position Summary

The Tax Analyst is responsible for performing federal, provincial income and commodity tax analysis and accounting. In addition, the position calculates various account liabilities, controls the timing of tax payments, monitors the departmental tax calendar, and performs actions involving record retrieval for audits.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the analysis and monthly payment of federal, provincial income and commodity taxes for Procor Limited and five other related companies. (MHC, MGCL, PRSK, PAI and UTLX-US co)
• Review and approve monthly income tax provision for four related companies. (MHC, MGCL, PAI and UTLX-US co)
• Prepares annual income tax returns for four related companies (MHC, MGCL, PAI and Railserve)
