About the Opportunity

• Tax Compliance
  • Prepares schedules and working papers to support tax preparation, estimated tax payments, extensions and utility taxes.
  • Prepares certain Canadian tax returns.
  • Updates and maintains the thin capitalization model.
• Canada Green Tax Incentives
  • Works with Development teams to analyze and understand the appropriate tax incentives for each project.
• Financial Reporting
  • Gathers and analyzes financial information for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produces all SAP accounting system reports for use in the preparation of tax expense, taxes due, income tax returns, VAT, excise taxes and others.
  • Ensures compliance with tax policies and procedures.
