Technical Lead/Manager, Application Development (Winnipeg)

Position Overview

As a senior hands‑on technical leader, you will design, develop, and deliver enterprise applications that support our client’s manufacturing, operations, and business systems. You will act as a player‑coach, leading a small development team while remaining deeply involved in full‑stack development across a green‑field environment. You will partner closely with operations, engineering, and business stakeholders to build secure, scalable, and high‑impact solutions.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full‑stack developers; promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee daily development activities (design, coding, testing, deployment, production support). Meet with business units to review requirements, lead production meetings, and develop wireframes.
