Technical Specialist Malignant Hematology (Hamilton)

The Technical Specialist Malignant Hematology is accountable for acting in accordance with the mission, vision, values and goals of the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) and those of St. Joseph's Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences Corporations. This position will foster a workplace which supports clinical excellence, continuous learning, outcome and evaluation research and promote open, participative communication within and across the HRLMP as well as the clinical programs and services. The Technical Specialist must be comfortable working with a team that processes regional volumes to include a wide range of malignant and hematological disorders, setting up protocols, interpreting data, compiling reports, as well as taking on a leadership role for facilitating professional development and continuing education within the profession to include the collaboration with Laboratory physicians, scientists and managers.
