Main responsibilities for this position are:- Safely remove and install forklift batteries using appropriate equipment.
- Monitor battery charge levels and rotate batteries as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of batteries and chargers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the battery room to meet safety standards.
- Record battery usage, charge cycles, and maintenance activities.
- Report any battery damage, leaks, or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to schedule battery changes efficiently.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of battery acid or hazardous materials.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and battery lifecycle management.
