The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta invites applications for an Assistant Professor rank tenure track position in the area of Exercise Intervention and Chronic Disease. This position has an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative and robust externally‑funded research program involving conducting exercise interventions in human populations experiencing any chronic disease (e.g. psychological, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic). They will also be expected to i) teach graduate and undergraduate courses, ii) contribute to a new undergraduate kinesiology concentration that prepares students to engage in exercise programming with clinica...
