Terrestrial Biologist / Ecologist (Oakville)

Parsons seeks an experienced terrestrial biologist to join its Environmental Services Group in Ontario. The role supports provincial and municipal clients in expanding and improving transportation systems through innovative ecological solutions and will involve field and office work across the province.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and office tasks applying complex scientific principles and theories.
• Conduct biological field investigations and data collection (e.g., breeding bird and amphibian surveys, bat acoustic surveys, vegetation inventories, tree surveys, wildlife and species-at-risk surveys, ecological land classification assessment, wetland evaluations, and fisheries assessments) following established protocols.
