TO2 Laboratory Technician

About the company/role:

Our government client is looking for an TO2 Technical Officer to join their team on a temporary basis until January 2027. You will be working with Argi-Science Queensland as part of the Microbial Ecology Group.

Duties:

• Preparation of buffers, solutions and anaerobic microbiological media
• Processing of plant material samples for freeze-drying and milling
• Labelling of sample collection tubes
• Weighing of feed required for experiments (fermentations, in vitro methane batch screening assays)
• General laboratory tasks

Skills/experience:

• Minimum qualification of Associate Diploma in Science, Diploma or Degree (Science field)
• Q Fever vaccination or willingness to have Q Fever testing/vaccination
• Demonstrated Laboratory experience
