Tooling Manager / Toolroom Manager - Stamping

Our client, an Automotive part manufacturer has an immediate opening for Tooling Manager or Toolroom Manager for its Metal Stampings facility located in Windsor Ontario.

This hands-on position is responsible for the supervision of qualified Tool & Die makers and General Contractors in a multi-shift environment in general die maintenance and repair of automotive stamping dies (progressive, transfer, robotic tandem). The Tool Room Manager is also responsible for implementing and managing preventative/predictive maintenance programs and assisting plant operations with engineering solutions, commissioning, and product launches. This position has direct reports of 8-10 skilled technicians and is based in Windsor, Ontario.

Qualifications for candidates:
• Certified Tool & Die Makers or substantial experience in Tool & Die trade required
• 5+ years of Tool Room management experience
