Position Summary

We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Traffic Safety Dispatcher/Road Operations Coordinator to support road safety operations and traffic management. This role is responsible for monitoring road activity, capturing operational data, coordinating traffic control movements, and maintaining clear communication with field crews and contractors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to make safety-focused decisions under pressure. Strong radio communication skills and clear spoken English are essential for this role. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe road operations and has the authority to delay, cancel, or divert traffic when necessary for public and crew safety.
