The City of Saskatoon is looking for our new Transportation Business Manager

The Work You Will Be Involved In:

This position manages the three primary business aspects of the Transportation Department: customer service (permitting, automated enforcement programs, and customer service); right-of-way management (closures, leases, purchases, and issue mitigation); and corporate governance (strategic priorities, risk management, performance metrics, change management, and corporate initiatives).

• Leads the Business Section by overseeing delivery of service in alignment with the department business plan and the corporate strategic priorities.
• Manages assigned staff, hires, assigns work schedules, plans for future workforce needs and directs the preparation of business planning and annual budgets.
• Plans, organizes, directs, monitors, and evaluates the work of staff and disciplinary action when required. ...
