Responsibilities

• Coordinate the clinical care of patients and implement clinical decisions made by the consultant.
• Use expert knowledge and clinical judgement to determine the need for investigations and make initial diagnoses.
• Act as an interface between medical practitioners, nursing staff, the multidisciplinary team, patients and their carers.
• Provide specialist advice to nursing and medical staff when required.
• Deliver ACP‑led clinics – both virtual and face‑to‑face – within the outpatient setting, including advanced assessment, clinical examination, referral for investigations, and completion of clinical records.

Essential Education and Training

• Registered Nurse.
• Evidence of teaching in the clinical environment.
