Job Requirements
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations in a timely and efficient manner. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate and drive trucks to deliver goods to specified locations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before and after trips.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo when necessary. **Qualifications:**
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Proven experience as a truck driver.
