Unqualified Teachers (Year 1 and Year 2 Teacher Candidates only)

Now recruiting Unqualified Teachers (Year 1 and Year 2 Teacher Candidates only) for the 2025-2026 School Year! Incumbents in this role will provide daily temporary support in the classroom in the event qualified occasional teaching staff are not available to fill a permanent teacher vacancy. Qualifications 1st and 2nd year Teacher Candidates/Faculty of Education students only. Vulnerable sector screening/police check required. Availability - need to commit to be available a minimum of one day per week or more. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Practicing Catholic preferred. Teacher Candidates who have applied for a Transitional Certificate through OCT will be eligible to apply to the Qualified Occasional Teachers posting once they receive their certificate.
