Job Purpose

Reporting through the Public Health Administrative structure, you will work in a multidisciplinary team setting where you will provide a variety of public health nursing services and/or counsel to individuals and groups, as well as build partnerships and collaborate with community partners, services, schools and/or government agencies to promote health, protect citizens and prevent the spread of communicable disease. Work assignment may be within the following Public Health programs: Healthy Families – Healthy Babies (including Child Protection Services), Immunization, Health Promotion, Sexual Health, School Health and Communicable Disease.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active registration with NANB.
