Position Description

A Valemount Elementary School - Valemount, BC - 0.2 FTE (Thursdays) - Gr. 3&4 - Limited Duration Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George). Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred. Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant must have or be eligible for membership in the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch, and possess:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or proof of application).


• Copy of letter from the TRB stating requirements to attain permanent certification status if certificate is conditional.


• Knowledge of Ministry of Education’s redesigned curriculum and core competencies.
