Veterinarian (DVM) Acting Medical Director - Carrington Animal Hospital

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal Veterinarian (DVM) will have 7+ years of experience and a proven advanced expertise in complex internal medicine, surgical, and dental procedures, including multimodal treatment planning.

They should be highly confident in independent decision‑making, capable of managing challenging cases and emergencies, and possess experience in leadership, mentorship, business management, or practice ownership.

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for clinical work, with 5‑10% of time devoted to Medical Director duties.

Collaborate with the National Medical Director to create and sustain an environment conducive to high quality, competent veterinary care.

Qualifications

Must hold or be eligible to hold a Private Practice license in British Columbia at the time of application.
