Vocational Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate PAES lab activities across various vocational areas (e.g., business/marketing, industrial, processing, construction, and computer technology).
• Provide instruction, demonstrations, and support to participants completing task‑based assessments.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver workshops based on employment readiness.
• Monitor participant progress and document performance, skill development, and areas for growth.
• Develop individualized training or support plans based on participant goals and assessment results.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Assist participants in building workplace readiness skills such as time management, communication, and problem‑solving.
• Maintain equipment, materials, and organization of the PAES lab.
• Collaborate with case managers, employers, and community partners as needed.
