Website Assistant (Santiago)

This position is located in the Web Services Unit, Statistics Division. The Website Assistant reports to the Chief of the Statistics Division and the supervision of the Head of the Web Services Unit.

Responsibilities

Under the overall guidance of the Chief of the Statistics Division and the supervision of the Head of the Web Services Unit, the Website Assistant is responsible for the following:

1. Creates new websites by:
   • creating prototypes and mockups;
   • building CMS themes for websites using advanced front‑end development skills;
   • researching and implementing new CSS frameworks and other media components;
   • identifying and resolving front‑end development issues;
   • providing front‑end support to the ECLAC Divisions throughout the website creation process;
   • implementing interaction with client‑side JavaScript libraries.
