Womenswear Designer - 1 year contract

Our client, a Montreal based womenswear manufacturer, is looking for a Designer for a 1 year contract. In this role, you will be reporting to the Design Director. You will coordinate and execute the design and development for tops (sweaters, cut and sew and wovens). You will take ownership of product development, style ideation, fabric sourcing, and tech packs. You will keep up with competitive market/trend research, all while working towards developing product to fit into target pricing objectives.
