Youth Director: Christ Central of Southern California

Job Description

Christ Central is seeking a Youth Director to lead its rapidly growing Youth Ministry of 60+ current youth students (6th to 12th grade). He/she will be accountable to the Session and supported by key staff (including pastors and administrative/operational staff) and eight volunteers. This position will be offered market pay based on the candidate’s experience and education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pastoral
  • Shepherd and direct Youth Ministry Sundays and midweek meetings
  • Plan and preach biblical accurate, culturally relevant messages for youth students
• Administrative
  • Create and manage a youth ministry calendar to drive all teaching and activities
  • Set and manage the annual youth group ministry budget
• Students
  • Coordinate logistics for youth events (budget, teams, transportation, waivers, etc.)
