Youth Director: Christ Central of Southern California

Job Description Christ Central is seeking a Youth Director to lead its rapidly growing Youth Ministry of 60+ current youth students (6th to 12th grade). He/she will be accountable to the Session and supported by key staff (including pastors and administrative/operational staff) and eight volunteers. This position will be offered market pay based on the candidate’s experience and education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pastoral

Shepherd and direct Youth Ministry Sundays and midweek meetings

Plan and preach biblical accurate, culturally relevant messages for youth students

Administrative

Create and manage a youth ministry calendar to drive all teaching and activities

Set and manage the annual youth group ministry budget

Students

Coordinate logistics for youth events (budget, teams, transportation, waivers, etc.)

Organize annual events (camp retreats, mission trips, etc.)
