In the role of Assistant Coach, you will support the OPDL and Pre-OPDL programs by focusing on player retention and skill enhancement. You will oversee team management and ensure effective communication among parents and staff. Your responsibilities include planning training sessions and providing insightful feedback during gameplay, nurturing a passionate environment for young athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the Club’s approach to player development
• Manage team organization and logistics
• Update TeamSnap for schedules and rosters
• Communicate with parents via TeamSnap
• Attend and contribute to training sessions and coach education
Requirements:
• OS Coaching Certification appropriate for age
• C-License or higher
• Knowledge of ethical coaching practices
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check...
